Humanoid hordes and scattered war-loving humans populate the evil lands of Ravencraft.

Three major humanoid powers struggle for dominance under the rule of the human, necromancer ruler of the kingdom. Presently the Eeverquwill hobgoblins hold the favor of the king.

Most of the human population of Ravencraft are serfs under the rule of various human lords. Some of the more powerful lords also rule humanoids, but for the most part the humanoid hordes show loyalty to their tribal dukes and the king of Darken Keep who they fear far too much to cross.

The cities of Ravencraft bare a resemblence to most kingdoms' garbage pits. Noisome odors, sweating populations of filthy humanoids and thieves only add to the atmosphere of squalor. Temples to evil deities raise their towers high above the cities casting shadows of depravity darker than the dirt covering the streets.

Throshassa, the kingdoms only port city, supports the kingdom's navy and receives the few merchant vessels that dare make port here. The prospect of immense profit lures some merchants to the evil town. They deal in weapons, armor, liquor and women, all commodities in high demand.

The necromancer king of Ravencraft grudgingly offers his fealty to the Emperor of Roland. He does so only because his armies could never hope to defeat the empire's vastly superior armies. Knowing that defiance would be futile he occupies most of his time warring with the Kingdom of Orange and the Gabilgathol dwarf clan.

The armies of Ravencraft number 600 hobgoblin griffon riders, 6,000 goblin worg cavalry, 3,000 human light cavalry, 30,000 orc heavy infantry, 24,000 hobgoblin heavy infantry, 24,000 goblin light infantry, 3,000 mixed artillerists, and 6,000 human heavy infantry.

The navy of Ravencraft is small containing only 37 warships, 18 small galleys and 15 large galleys.
