*Dwarves and Uldras have a chance equal to their racial skill to detect stonework pits and traps to find secret doors cut from stone.
Tallfellow Halflings and all elves except Elberethi elves have a 3 in 20 chance to detect a secret door by merely passing within 10 feet of one.
1Humans of the Sul nation have a 10% chance to have some dwarven blood and therefore have 30' infravision.
2A player must decide at first level whether a Mul character will be treated as human or demi-human; demi-human muls have 60' infravision and human muls have no infravision.
3Muls have much greater endurance than other character races. While a Mul moves normally at MV 12, he can keep that pace up much longer than any other character race. See Table 2.4: Mul exertion for details.
